Healthy Balance Direct Care was formed out of a desire to bring greater clarity to healthcare. Our founder saw that individuals often felt unheard or forced through a system that limited visit times and lacked openness in pricing. We decided to remove barriers that deter people from seeking help in a timely manner.

Our mission is to foster an environment in which you can speak openly with a provider who is ready to listen. At Healthy Balance Direct Care, we’re guided by the expertise and passion of two dedicated healthcare professionals: Tyler Higgins, PharmD, a pharmacist and business owner for 17 years who strives to deliver outstanding patient care to everyone he serves, and Heather Stolworthy, MPH, MSN, FNP-C, a provider with a strong background in public health and family practice. Together, they bring a combination of clinical knowledge and heartfelt commitment to ensure that each patient’s health needs receive the personal attention and professional excellence they deserve.

With over 20 years of clinical experience, Heather Stolworthy, MPH, MSN, FNP-C, is a deeply knowledgeable and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner known for delivering thoughtful, patient-centered care. She currently practices at Healthy Balance Direct Care in Caldwell, Idaho, where she serves individuals and families through a direct primary care model—cutting through the red tape of insurance to offer accessible, personalized healthcare.

Heather’s medical approach blends the best of evidence-based practice with a warm, human touch. She specializes in whole-person care, with a focus on women’s health, hormone therapy, mental health, chronic disease management, and preventive care. Her clinical background spans urgent care, cardiology, gastroenterology, psychiatric health, and family medicine, giving her a wide-ranging skill set to serve patients at every stage of life.

Heather holds dual master’s degrees in Public Health and Nursing from Idaho State University and is nationally certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She has precepted doctoral students, managed her own practice, and earned a reputation for going above and beyond to ensure every patient feels heard and cared for.

Outside the exam room, Heather is a passionate gardener, a dedicated lifelong learner, and proud Memaw to four busy grandkids. She lives in the Treasure Valley with her husband and loves the simplicity, seasons, and spirit of the Idaho lifestyle.
